The nightlife in Boston can hold its own with any world city. Whether you are looking for dance clubs or local bars or anything in between. The city’s gay nightlife can also hold its own with any other world city. It is concentrated mostly in a part of the city known as the ‘South End.’
Club Cafe – is part restaurant, bar and nightclub and Friday and Saturdays many will start or spend their entire evening. On Sunday it offers one of the places to have brunch and during the week it is a cabaret each night a different theme. And it between of it is the restaurant serving dinner each night.
Cathedral Station Sports Bar & Pub – as the name says for those that want to watch a good game and have a good meal this is your spot. Each night offers something different from 50 cent wings, trivia and karaoke along with some great food. Friday and Saturday night it is a popular place for many to start or end their night out.
The Eagle – for those of you that prefer just a straight up bar with no frills that is not trying to impress you, have theme nights just a straight up gay bar it is it.The eagle is a Boston landmark and on any given night what you get is the exact same thing you got the night before and what you’ll get the next night.
Let’s Dance
Epic Saturdays@House of Blues – located across from Fenway Park this is the place for Saturday night for those looking for a dance floor. It does cater to a younger crowd but either way it is one of the most popular to be.
Paradise – for those of you wanting a mixed crowd with no one trying to impress you cross the Charles River and head to Paradise in Cambridge. The cover is $5 and you get a great dance floor down below and a great bar above and the occasional stripper and wide screen tv’s all around playing some porn for all and unlike the others Paradise is open 7 days a week.
Venu – offers theme nights and is not a gay disco every night. The most popular night is Wednesday, ‘Latino’ night that brings out part of the city’s gay Latino population. You also get a drag show and some good Latino music.
