The word ‘love’ has a multitude of definitions

Love… is an awesome force. It can make us do things we never imagined possible. For you see, we don’t actually choose love, it chooses us. And once it has, we are powerless to do anything about it. 

Love is an awesome force because we don’t look for it but somehow it finds us. Once it has us in its grasp, we are powerless because we have met our one in eight billion.

In 1984 Tina Turner asked the world ‘what’s love go to do with it?’  Over the years people have asked me why do I travel so often?  ‘Another trip? – you just got back from one.’  ‘Why would you ever visit this country or that country?’  ‘It’s this or that’  ‘Why, why, why?!!!  When it comes to travel love is the reason.  A love for adventure, other cultures and ways of life.  A love for the excitement and challenge that travel is – A love history, art and fine food or you have a love nature and the outdoors and the multitudes that keep us going on these amazing journey’s.  But it the rarest of journey’s where love finds us and someone has entered our life that will change it and you forever.

one of the greatest things about travel are people you meet along the way, and the smallest decisions can make the biggest impact and someone enters your life that will change you both forever.

Love is such an awesome force and once it has us in its grasp, we are powerless. We don’t seek out love, it finds us and once it has us in its grasp we are powerless. The thing about love, it is blind – it doesn’t see a race, religion or ethnicity, it doesn’t see rich or poor. It doesn’t see perfection because we are all imperfect, and we too are blind because not a single one of these matters because we’ve found the one person you want to be with every single day, week, month and year until we pass on through life.

And with each passing day, month and year you fall more and more in love. And that day that comes when you’re ready to give up life in your own country and move to theirs because the short vacations, phone calls and text aren’t enough anymore.
