During my stay I had rented an apartment and most nights I made food, but I also had my share of Middle Eastern Cuisine, whenever I travel to a foreign country I always make sure I try the food of that country. And while I am not schooled in Middle Eastern Cuisine I found plenty of teachers during my stay. Here are my top five:
5. Pastel Brasserie – this restaurant/bar is at the Tel Aviv Art Museum and the perfect way to end a day of visiting the museum it has outdoor seating – bar and restaurant, so even without visiting the museum it is a great place to end the day or start your night.

4. Hakosem – you know food is good when it is loaded with foods on any given day you would never eat, I have never tried ‘falafel’ until I visited Israel and in eight days I’d never thought I’d have so many. And while you can find them just about anywhere you turn, the ones at Hakosem were the best I had.
3.La-Shuk – it is located in the city center and has one of the best menu’s in the city, with food for every taste and an array of food you’ve always wanted to try but hadn’t – here’s your chance.

2. Hudson Brasserrie – yes I know I had my last supper of 2013 had to be steak and this is one of the city’s finest.
1. Catit – without question I had the best meal of my eight days here. An international menu entitled ‘Journey Through Time’ taking your taste buds around the world, while you will need a few extra shekel – it is worth it.
