My Five Favorite Airlines
Posted 2015-4-4 by AGF
In all my years of travel I’ve flown on a multitude of airlines, each one so different than the other and no matter the cost of my ticket the experience would always come down to service. No matter how far my journey it was the way I was treated 60,000 feet in the air that made the journey I was all the better. Each of us want to pay the least amount of money for our ticket but sometimes paying the higher fare is worth it. Here my five airlines that I will always pay the full fare.
1. Cathay Pacific Airlines – the only difference between the top two is the name of the airline. The service was more than I ever expected, they might have even fed had I asked. The flight attendants could not have been focused on the passenger and whenever I can, I will always fly this airline. For those wanting five-star service you must fly Cathay Pacific.

1. Japan Airlines – This was a tie without question. They too were 100% focused on my satisfaction and like Cathay I didn’t have the slightest complaint. Their attention to detail can’t be matched. The meal was four star and it might’ve been the most comfortable seat in all my years of flying.

3.Lufthansa – my first trip to Europe started in Berlin and ended in Munich and this would be first time on a foreign carrier. Up until that night I’d only flown on US carriers and after eight hours to Berlin f rom Boston I never wanted to fly a US carrier again. The service was a different level, the attention to detail and my satisfaction were the focus and after dinner a snifter of Bailey’s.

4. Quantas – when I visited Australia in June of 2005, I would fly Quantas the entire three weeks and each flight was either equal to or better than the previous. If you do visit Australia and can sit still for close to 20 hours the service, you receive make it worth every minute.

5. Air France – rounds out my top five and like the four before it all comes down to service. I flew Air France when I visited Israel in 2013. I was forced to sit in business class and the flight attendants couldn’t have been any more attentive. A filet mignon on my way to Israel, life was beautiful.

Honorable Mentions –
1.Latam Airlines

2.Turkish Airlines

3. American Airlines
