Love… is an awesome force. It can make us do things we never imagined possible. For you see, we don’t actually choose love, it chooses us. And once it has us in its grasp we are powerless to do anything about it.
In 1984 Tina Turner asked the world ‘what’s love go to do with’? Over the years people have asked me why do I travel so often? ‘Another trip? – you just got back from one.’ ‘Why would you ever visit this country or that country?’ ‘It’s this or that’ ‘Why, why, why?!!! When it comes to travel love is the reason. A love for adventure, other cultures and ways of life. A love for the excitement and challenge that travel is – A love history, art and fine food or you have a love nature and the outdoors and the multitudes that keep us going on these amazing journey’s.

Fate is the believed power or divine force that predetermines events and outcomes, making them inevitable and beyond human control.

But it’s also a love for the people you meet along the way. There are eight billion people in this world. And on any given journey you meet so many, some as fascinated by you and you with them. They want to share their culture and way of life. And then you go on the journey that changes your life, and when you return home everyone is asking ‘did you meet anyone?’ and you respond, no ‘I met the one’. And what feels like the blink of an eye life has become a constant face time, phone calls and text messages and with each day you fall more in love and the only trip you’ll take is to see them.
And one day you realize that is not enough anymore. You need to be with this person every day and night. Hold them, hug and kiss them. And make love each night. And you’re ready to give up life in your country to be with them in their’s. Of the many things love is, it is blind – it doesn’t see a race, religion or ethnicity, it doesn’t see rich or poor. It doesn’t see perfection because we are all imperfect, and it doesn’t see different language’s and we too are blind because not a single one of these matter.
