There is nothing quite like sitting outside high above a city whether the sun is filling the sky or stars are illuminating it, a rooftop is one of the most romantic places and if you make your way to any of these cities and want dinner under the stars these are my five favorite rooftop restaurants.

1. High Note Sky Bar – for those of that make your way to Budapest and want to have lunch with a panoramic view of this beautiful city this must be it.  A lunch that will not disappoint and a cocktail menu inspired by films this is also a place to start or spend the night.  https://highnoteskybar.hu/en/ 

2. Die Kuche Im Kraftwerk – translated it means ‘The Kitchen in the Power Plant’ and that is exactly what it is.  It is a converted power plant where the food is cooked right in front of you.  It has a sprawling rooftop terrace for you to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner with the beauty of Munich, Germany as your backdrop. http://diekuecheimkraftwerk.de/ 

3. M S Roof Garden Athens – and for your appetizer, main course and desert – The Acropolis.  Imagine sitting enjoying an amazing meal staring at one of the most historic structures in the world bathed in white light for the world to see.
